There are 3 phases to completing one of our new Escape Games before it is released to the public. Here at Urban Escape Games we design all of our game in house with Team Building in mind. Designing our games can take months and months to compete all of the three steps below:
Brainstorming: Brainstorming is the first step to creating an escape room. We have to come up with the theme of the room and brainstorm different ideas of how exactly we want the game to look and what type of puzzles we want throughout the game. Then we have to finalize which theme, puzzles, and riddles we want in the new game and move on to the next phase.
Designing: The next step is the designing phase of the game. Now that we have brainstormed everything that we want in the game it is time to start creating it. We build all of our technology in house and we design all our puzzles in house. This phase normally takes the longest amount of time to build and create the entire game. The design of each escape room is written down to the detail of the color of paint and furniture needed.
Testing: The last step is the testing phase. At Urban Escape Games we currently have a 32% escape rate and we have designed all of our games to be equally difficult. During the testing stage we want to ensure that everything flows correctly and that it is equally challenging as our other escape rooms. This is when changes occur and more or less puzzles are added to ensure that no room is less challenging than another game here at Urban Escape Games.
We put a ton of hard work into making our escape rooms (games) and love seeing our customers have a blast while experiencing our Escape Games!
