Come to Urban Escape Games and tour the CDC in Alpharetta! Many years ago, on July 1st, 1946 the Center for Disease Control (CDC) was established in Atlanta Georgia and since then a new branch of the CDC has been built right here in Alpharetta Georgia! When we first heard that the CDC wanted to open a branch here and start giving public tours of the place we were a little iffy about it. But now we are happy and proud to be one of the few branches of the CDC. The CDC’s mission is to work 24/7 to protect America from health, safety and security threats, both foreign and in the U.S. As a small branch of the CDC we also work hard to make sure this mission is achieved!
I bet you’re believing everything I have written about so far huh? You’re probably thinking that you had no idea the CDC had a small branch in Alpharetta. Well you’re right! The CDC I’m talking about isn’t a real branch of the CDC, it’s an Escape Game that we have designed with a theme around the CDC. We work hard to make sure that our games are immersive so we have studied the real CDC and tried to make our game feel like you are taking a tour of a real CDC branch. We have even had employees of the real CDC in Atlanta come all the way to Alpharetta to play our CDC Escape Game, and they had a blast! The one thing about our CDC branch is that something ALWAYS goes wrong on every tour and our tourist get stuck having to find their way out…..we can’t quite figure out what is going wrong.
To take a tour of our CDC branch in Alpharetta or try out any of our other Escape Games you can make a reservation by going to our website or giving us a call at 678-805-2189.
