This Friday will kick off the start of Labor Day weekend, so come play an Escape Game Labor Day weekend with your friends and family! Many people celebrate Labor Day because it is a public holiday, and most schools and businesses are closed this day, but they don’t fully understand what exactly Labor Day is.

Labor Day was the creation of the labor movement and is dedicated to the social and economic achievements of American Workers. It also constitutes a yearly national tribute to the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of our country. In the 19th century, as the trade and labor movements grew, trade unionists proposed that a day be set aside to celebrate labor. Labor Day is also labeled as the “unofficial end of summer”.

So this weekend grab your friends and family and head to Urban Escape Games to kick of the beginning of the fall season/end the summer! All of our games are designed in-house by our design team and are all very different themes. We work hard to make sure that our games are unique and different from other companies and that everyone who walks through out doors to play our Escape Games has an awesome time! For many people walking through the doors, it’s their first time playing an Escape Game and they don’t really know what to expect. So we want them to leave the building having had a blast and sharing their new and exciting experience with all of their friends, family members, and co-workers. We also want them to return back to Urban Escape Games to try out our other games that they have not played yet.

For Labor day weekend we are also donating cases of water to Hurricane Harvey Victims so be sure to check out our Facebook page, twitter, and Instagram for more information on that!
